The Palestinian tragedy stems from enduring impunity. The same forces behind past military disasters—neocon agendas and the military-industrial complex—now fuse with the nationalist-religious ideology of the Israeli government, forming a deadly dynamic. Europe’s inaction and divisions fuel it further. The gravity of events demands truth and accountability: perpetrators, direct and indirect, must be identified, denounced, and brought before justice. At the same time, media outlets spreading propaganda must face scrutiny, and journalists who flout ethics held accountable by independent bodies.
